Our deepest desire is that our children and youth would come to know Jesus - to that end we offer age-appropriate classes to help them learn and grow in their faith! Our 6th - 12th graders do that through Bible studies, fun activities, acts of service in our community, serving the church, and so much more!
Youth Group meets every Sunday morning from 9:15-10:15 am. Each time they gather they are learning how to put their faith into action and have a lot of fun as they are learning! Some of the topics they discuss are: the big questions of faith like, Who is God? What does it mean to be a Christian? How do I live like Jesus at schoo?
We also offer Teen Bible Quizzing. This is like our Children's Bible Quizzing, but taken to the next level! These teens are diving even deeper in to God's Word, memorizing large portions of Scripture and seeking to understand what it means and how it applies to their lives. They meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm and they also gather throughout the year for Quiz meets - including some overnight events. (Quizzing meets during the school year)
Our youth group is very involved in serving our church - they help in the nursery, on the worship team, run slides and sound for services, etc. They also participates in various activities throughout the year including:
- Back-to-School Bash
- Christmas Party
- Nursing Home visits
- Teen Camp
- Winter Retreat
- Other SCO District Activities
- Other service opportunities
